When I asked Him His ideas, I didn’t hear anything I expected!
“Peace of mind—Heart at rest—Striving ceased!”
Okay???
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and Thou shalt be saved! Continually—restoratively—completely—personally—uniquely made whole!”
For more clarification, this is what the word saved—“sozo”—means in this context...
“Sozo is the Greek word for ‘save’ and encompasses so much more than just salvation from eternal judgment. It involves the every day rescuing, healing, restoring and preserving that works to bring us into oneness with our Abba Father. My ‘sozo’ is contingent upon my continued desire to seek Him in all things, trust Him in all things and believe in Him for all things—which is completely contingent upon His grace!” *
So...ummm...I was thinking we’d work on some goal setting in homeschooling or parenting or wifeing or...you know? But I have to admit—I like what I’m hearing!
“Rest comes in waiting. Waiting on Me and in Me is where you rest from working, thinking, analyzing—simply trying to figure it (whatever “it” is) out on your own. Wait for Me to bring all things to pass. Alignment is My gifting! Waiting is not passive. Wait in rest before you go after something or in certain directions. You want all things done now. That is not going to happen. You believe! Believe Me and in Me! Trust and do not fear—yes! But that comes with time, with experiences, with waiting on Me to move. I will never leave you nor forsake you! There is your peace of mind! Good things come to those who wait. Great things for those who wait on me.
Be diligent to keep our time together. Not as an act of duty, but out of your need. Make Me first in your day and everything else in your life will fall in line. This is where the striving ceases. Striving is unnecessary! I freely give all you need—all you will ever need...every day, every season, every situation. I give! Even what I take away is to give in greater measure. That is where, once again, rest comes in and peace of mind. If you truly believe Me.
2011 will be just another year to you, if not purposefully and intentionally devoted to seeking Me first. For ALL other things WILL be added unto you!”
