A Proverb A Day

Have you heard of the easy, systematic way to work through the book of Proverbs each month? God gave us 31 Proverbs, so they fit perfectly into our month. Just read the Proverb that matches the day of the month it happens to be. If it is the 15th of April, read the 15th Proverb. The 24th of June, read the 24th Proverb. February will have you missing the last couple and you’ll only visit that Proverbs 31 gal every other month. It should only take you about 10 minutes or so to read through one. If you have a little bit more time, sit down with a good bible dictionary and look up all of the thematic words for a deeper understanding. Always begin in prayer and then wait expectantly to see what God wants to reveal to you each day! The Proverbs are so meaty, you won’t get bored or “learn all there is to learn” after a couple months. There is ongoing growth potential for years in this book!
